Furnace and heater tube pig decoking
･ Removal of carbon and iron sulfide from a variety of furnace and heater tubes
We clean and remove hard coking built up inside the furnace tubes using a decoking pig “K20”which we have specifically developed for this purpose. The technology to measure the wall thickness of pipes using inspection pigs requests high cleanliness inside before conducting the measurement. Our decoking technology has been highly evaluated “as Approved Contractor for Pigging Cleaning” by Quest Integrity Group LLC., the licenser of the inspection pig tecnology for the heater and furnace tubes.
- K20 poly pig (special purposed pig we developed specifically for decoking)
- Our pump vehicle to transfer pigs
- Scale (coking) removed from the furnace tube. The pipelines are usually inspected using radiographic testing (RT) before and after pigging to measure the effect of cleaning.
